The satin material on the top layer of this dress is seriously adverse to packaging in little plastic bags, so when it arrives it will look horrible. I steamed my dress before wearing it, which fixed the problem. The tulle underskirt is scratchy, so beware it will destroy tights/hose, or just make your legs itch when you sit down. There's a Marilyn Monroe feel to this dress - low neckline and permanently flared skirt make it very pin-up appropriate, though the satin does NOT lay flat on the underskirt and continually pools in folds (as I saw later in pictures of myself). I did like the shine and sparkles (the tulle layer has silver glitter dots on it), but for those used to a sleek silhouette, this dress will make you feel wide.
