Matching removable tie belt adorns the waistline and helps to cinch in the waist. High waist design made to sit high on the waist.  Two usable pockets adorn the front. There was really nothing wrong with the shorts, they just weren't for me. I am shorter in stature, so they didn't work for me the way they were meant to be worn, but I was able to change them up and wear them differently.
